Funded by disability employment research grants, this small book is packed with a lot of valuable information.  There are seven company case studies with a valuable summary and lessons learned at the end of each chapter.  A book with practical approaches to hiring, developing, retaining, and fully integrating people with disabilities into organizations of all types.

Dive In: Springboard into the Profitability, Productivity, and Potential of the Special Needs Workforce by Nadine O. Vogel

Nadine Vogel, Founder and President of Springboard Consulting shares her practical knowledge acquired from her life experience as a mom of two children with special needs and her years of disability consulting for national and global firms.

Employer Assistance and Recruiting Network (EARN)
Designed to help employers locate and recruit qualified workers with disabilities. There’s info and help for job seekers, and employment service providers, too. EARN, which is a service of the Office of Disability Employment Policy, can also provide technical assistance on general disability employment-related issues.

The Job Accommodation Network (JAN)
JAN is a service of the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP).  It brings together information from many sources about practical steps employers can take to make accommodations for the functional limitations of employees and applicants with disabilities. JAN consultants provide technical details and assistance with accommodations and the implementation of products and procedures in the workplace.

Bender Consulting Services

A for-profit employment agency for professional positions within the private and public sector for individuals with disabilities within North America.  I had the pleasure of hearing Joyce Bender, CEO and Founder, speak at the National Spina Bifida Conference.  She is an impressive woman who knows her business and tells it the way she sees it.

Work Without Limits
Is a Massachusetts based program, focused on improving employment opportunities for people with disabilities in MA. They provide valuable resources and information on employment for many audiences, including people with disabilities, family members, employment service providers, and employers.
